Fund the network

The support of governments and other donors enables us to break down barriers to inclusion so that children and young people with disabilities in Africa are able to thrive.

Members of the Able Child Africa Network have a track record of successful partnerships with a range of national and internationally registered organisations, with funding from corporate, government and non-government funding bodies to deliver high-impact and sustainable programmes.

There are a number of different ways you can support the network to achieve its goals:

  • Directly fund or support the work of individual network member (all African-registered) that operate within a specific African country.
  • Fund or support individual, multiple or all network members in partnership with Able Child, a UK-registered organisation.
  • Fund the Able Child Africa Network to deliver programmes as a consortium, either in partnership with Able Child or by selecting an Able Child Africa Network member as the lead.

Why support the Able Child Africa Network

The Able Child Africa Network is proud to be the leading network for organisations in Africa working with and for children with disabilities. We bring together the combined expertise of our membership to shape the landscape of what works for children and young people with disabilities in policy and programming, and have considerable experience in delivering work individually and as part of a consortium.

Our members have extensive technical expertise and a proven track record of success across a range of thematic areas that have proven to improve the lives of children with disabilities in the communities in which they work. You can play an important role in supporting this mission.

Funding the Able Child Africa Network’s work offers considerable value for money and ensures we, as representative organisations, are included in key-decision making spaces where the voices of children with disabilities should be heard. At the same time, your support will help us to continue developing the resources, networks and partnerships needed to ensure no child with a disability is left behind.
