Zimbabwe Parents of Handicapped Children Association

Zimbabwe Parents of Handicapped Children Association envision a society in which children with disabilities can enjoy their rights and be equal to each and every child.

Zimbabwe Parents of Handicapped Children Association (ZPHCA) work to improve the quality of life for children living with disabilities through protecting their rights as stated in the UN Convention of Children’s rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

ZPHCA believe that the children with disabilities they support have the same needs as all children: love, care, compassion, encouragement and full inclusion in family and society. Since their inception, the Harare Province has been actively involved in advocacy and lobbying for the rights of children with disabilities, and the rights of women in the areas of health, education and housing.
